UVA history app status

I have all my app materials in for UVA, but the site lists my application status as incomplete. Is this true for anyone else? Also, first post!

I think that's fairly common. They might just be lagging behind in entering in the data. If it gets significantly past the deadline and still shows as incomplete, I'd email the Graduate School and ask. I did that one with school that didn't show my GRE scores as arrived, and they'd filed it by accident under my maiden name.

I had the same problem. I called the admissions office and they said that they can't control the field for "Complete" or "Incomplete" so even if all your materials are in, your VIP page may still indicate "Incomplete"

I'm not history, but I saw this thread and thought it would be what it is. I wouldn't worry about it - mine says the same thing for UVa, but I called and spoke with people in the Grad Admission office (who are a lot nicer than others I've talked to at other schools, and I'm not just saying that because I did undergrad there), and they told me they had everything.

So - I would go ahead and give them a call to double check if you want to and haven't done so already.

Same issue. No worries. My transcript was even listed as missing, and they had it and just hadn't updated the site.

Just throwing my two cents into the ring, the same is true for myself (and has been for some time). I actually sent another round of transcripts because they SAID they didn't have them.

THAT being said, I gave this app my best shot, but I essentially did it for fun. :S

If I was doing civil war/reconstruction-era American history, I'd love to work with Gallagher. Best of luck with that.
