metaphil Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 (edited) I am currently senior philosophy student and trying to apply to masters programs in the UK. I am from Bogazici Uni (the best phil dept in Turkey) and currently my GPA is 3.4 (grading is really harsh here). I did pretty good in my undergrad, had a term at Chapel Hill. I am also running an international student organization in Turkey and some other student clubs involvement. Right now I am applying to Oxbridge, LSE, King’s, St. Andrews, Edinburgh, UCL. I have a strong writing sample in metaphysics, and I believe I have pretty decent recommendation letters. I am asking the obvious: what are the chances and what are your experiences with those universities and applications? I dont have much expectation on Oxbridge, but I believe I have a fair amount of chance in e.g. LSE or St. Andrews. That being said, I actually have no idea. Thanks.
