Clinpsyc01 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 This is kind of a dumb question, but one of my POIs invited me to a preliminary skype interview, and sent a doodle poll for applicants to list their preferred time. I'm supposed to check off every time/date that I'm available, right? It looks like other people selected multiple times, but I'm neurotic and don't want to commit some kind of stupid faux pas.
stereopticons Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I've never seen that particular situation before, but yes, that's usually how doodle works. Just check all the times you're available, and presumably your POI will let you know what time you end up with.
fuzzylogician Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 You're supposed to select times when you are available. If there are multiple options that would work for you, choose multiple options. That will help the professor accommodate everyone's needs. If there is a "ifneedbe" option, use it moderately. It's usually customary to select some reasonable number of options out of what's available, to allow some flexibility in scheduling, but don't feel like that has to mean that you say yes to things that really don't work for you. Good luck!
