Could use a lot of help! (low-tier school list and application question)

Hi there!

I'm helping a friend apply to SLP programs and needed some assistance with a few questions plus a school list run-over. I'm not an expert in any regard, so all advice regarding schools especially is welcome.

Firstly, my friend just finished their final semester of undergrad this Fall and submitted their transcripts to CSDCAS from the school. Can they still apply to schools with deadlines of 1/15/17 while the transcript is waiting to be processed, or do they need to cross these schools out?

For the school list, let's start with stats:

Cum GPA: 3.174

Last 60 GPA: 3.289

PreSLP GPA (online post-bac): 3.139

GRE: 154 VR / 152 QR / 4 AW (Does not have the option to retake at this point)

They are aware that they are not a hyper-competitive applicant and we have been researching schools that have accepted lower GPAs along with having a high admission offer to applicant ratio. This is what we've come up with:

Idaho State University

Pacific University

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions

University of Montana

University of Wyoming

Midwestern University

Northern Arizona University

Eastern New Mexico University

University of Central Arkansas

 

Thoughts on any of these schools plus others that could be added would be great. They'd like to stay on the west half of the US if possible, but if there's a school they should definitely apply to that doesn't meet that criteria, we're all ears.

Some schools will accept the application as long as the transcript was received. They are color coded on CSDCAS you can find it under their FAQ.
