Question

Hi everyone!

I am so happy I found this forum it's been so great to read everyone else's experiences with applying to graduate school! It's all made me feel better others are nervous as well and I'm not alone. ;)

I'm graduating in April of 2017 and going to graduate school fall of 2017 (hopefully ha...)

I am applying to U of M, WMU, Rutgers, The University of Maryland, The University of New Hampshire, and Loyola Chicago. U of M is my shot in the dark school so I'm not expecting to get in. However, Rutgers would be next choice! I'm a little worried though....

stats:

Major: Psychology with a double minor in social work and Addiction Studies.

GPA: Cumulative 3.27 (not that high I know) but I have made the deans list the past four semesters and I have a 4.0 in both my minors. Psych GPA is 3.14.

I'm hoping my extracurricular activities weigh out my lower GPA for these schools... I was Vice President of Administration for my sorority and Sponorship Chair for a non- profit as well. I also volunteer at an elementary school as well tutoring students in reading.

Do you guys think I have a good chance of getting into Rutgers or Loyola? Or even any of the above I'm applying too haha Rutgers is my top pick at the moment since they have an awesome substance abuse certificate program!
