CSUMentor SOP question

Hey everyone,

 

Do you know if will be acceptable to submit my statement of purpose separately (just in department application) after I have submitted my CSUmentor app. On the CSUmentor app it tells me I can type in "Statement sent directly to the department", but I have not submitted the statement to department yet. I will be submitting the statement after I have submitted the CSUmentor application (~1week later).

 

It seems that it should be ok, just checking to hear if any of you have encountered the same thing.
