Am I tied to the professor?

Hi,

I have been admitted to a PhD program recently, but I am worrying about having to chose the professor who interviewed me as my PI. I think he wrote an internal recommendation to the department head and might lead to my admission. I wrote him an email indicating my interest to work with him before submitting the application and had several emails back and forth introducing my research background. Then, we set up a skype interview and he said he think I am a good fit and he will write to the department head. I didn't reject his kindness, but now I am admitted and I am not sure whether I should be committed. I have interview invitations from other professors that I am more interested in working with and I am not sure if I should write to them and tell them I have been admitted. 

 

Please provide some opinions and I really appreciate any help!
