UC Irvine Vs. UF Gainesvile

Hello all,

As the title suggests, I am applying to both schools for Civil Engineering graduate. However, I want to ask about both towns, Universities, and how hard to get in them. My last GRE score was Math 153, Verbal 146. I am an international student which makes English not my first language. 

I would appreciate any comments, suggestions, thoughts and so on

I currently go to UF. Is there anything specific you want to know about the town or university?

@M.omar, if you check the "City Guide" section, you'll find threads on both Gainesville, FL (where UFlorida is) and Irvine, CA.

Irvine is very expensive in term of living costs. And you can get nowhere without a car, for public transportation is next to zero in Orange County.
