2400 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 (edited) I'm working on a grant application right now, and a budget is required. I just want to list the basics, but I'm wondering if there is anything I am forgetting. So far, I am listing airfare, housing and food, and also "miscellaneous research expenses" (photocopies, cab fare, books). This is a grant for dissertation research. Is there anything you think I should add or subtract? Thanks:) Edited January 24, 2010 by 2400
rising_star Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Talk to your department's business manager. S/he will know what you need to include. Also, look at other people's budgets to see if you left anything out. I know for my research, I would include necessary equipment (digital voice recorder, digital camera with underwater casing, data analysis software) if possible. Oh, and a cell phone if you'll need it. It's really hard to say what your budget might need without knowing what your research is.
