Roa Ni Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Hello, I was informed by JHU CMDB at Jan.22 that I was placed on the waited list. Having consulted other applicants, I found that most of them even did not receive any e-mail from JHU. Also, there are no CMDB result reported in this forum. Does it mean the CMDB program has been declined in this academic year? Should I e-mail to CMDB program ask for the priority? Currently I have been admitted by UGA, UMass Med and is likely to be admitted by NYU Sackler, should I wait for the CMDB program or just confirm an offer I have had now? Thanks
vinda Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Congradulations on your current results! For JHU, I guess they are still picking up dates for interviewees so they emailed the ones on the waitlist first. Being waitlisted by top schools like JHU is already a big accomplishments, which requires really impressive credentials, so just relax and wait for the good news. It is just early Feb right now so you don't have to make commitment to any school. One thing for sure is that NYU and UMass Med are way better than UGA. I guess you have applied for the ILS program at UGA because they don't have a biomedical sciences program. I applied for it too and have completed the interviews. The program coordinater told me that they are still waiting for responses from top applicants in the pool, who have recieved offers earlier. I am excepted to hear about the admission results in late Feb. If you are not planning on going to UGA, would you please kindly withdraw your application so that they can make quicker decisions? I would be tremendously grateful for you kindness.
