If I haven't heard about an interview by now, is that bad news?

That really depends - do you know if interviews are pretty standard for the field you're applying to?

Also, do you know if the schools you applied to conduct interviews?

If you look at the program-specific forums or the "results" database here on gradcafe, you may get the information you need to assess your situation. If you're not sure, you could always email and ask whether the school conducts interviews as part of the application review process and whether invitations were still pending. You could always just say you are curious for planning purposes.
