phychaos Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 I am on the waiting list of astronomy of chicago and also have a TA offer from physics dep. of minnesota. Chicago is my first choice in the field I am interested in and they said I am high on the waiting list. but I am not sure if chicago will give finantial support to every admitted grad-student. So, is it worthy to keep waiting or just accept the offer from UMN? thank for any suggestion. It's really a torture in such a situation......sigh.....
