Cambridge, awaiting approval by BGS???

Yesterday, I checked that my application status has changed, from 'Awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies" to 'application awaiting approval by BGS'. I am wondering whether that's just because of upgrading process of the camsis OR it has a meaning.

You're essentially in. When it gets to that stage, it means the department has recommended you and the BoGS needs to verify all the bureucratic requisites are fulfilled (takes up to 2 weeks).
