Hello all, I've been shortlisted for an interview in a week for an MFA painting program. Any idea how many people are generally interviewed, and what those interviewing are looking for? I've heard wildly different things from the idea that this is a "welcome to the program!" interview that is difficult to screw up to the idea that the interview is what really gets you accepted (showcasing an ability to speak about your work) . There's three available spots in the painting/drawing department so I'm guessing they would interview perhaps 12 to 15 people? No idea. So any insight would be greatly appreciated.
