I don't actually believe it, though, because It says I need to respond by April 12th (tomorrow), and I haven't gotten an email. As part of this process, you will be notified by our team once the Department of Defense has made their final decision." Very...cryptic! Edit: Looks like it may be an honorable mention/alternate notice, based on their most recent Facebook and Twitter posts. I got that last year-- you're an Alternate Selectee, so if anyone declines you get a shot at their place, congrats! This means you might not have final news until late May, though. One of my labmates and I have both not received any emails and our https://ndseg.asee.org/award page is still saying there is no new info about our awards. ~mystery~. It's super annoying to have to do the application song and dance again, but just think of it as practice for the rest of your academic life! Hey, The award page currently says: "There is no information about your award status at this moment." But I'm assuming they didn't send the email by mistake haha, so no hope here. I did get my award email at 5pm (EST). However, my portal still says I have to reply by tomorrow, while my email says I have two weeks.
