sociology at Yale?

Hi,

Sort of new to this but I found the survey results so helpful that I was inspired to write. I am wondering if there are any Sociology applicants floating around here, in particular, the one who filled out the survey and reported s/he got into the Yale program. I am surprised s/he heard so early (Yale has a beg. of March notification date) and that s/he was notified by phone. If you are out there, Oh Envied One, please do give some background. Oh, and of course, big congrats to you .
