Location: Toronto School: Toronto International Psychology Centre (TIPC) Length of the Program: 4 Years part-time program Training Director: Adam Crabtree Introduction What is CRPO? The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) regulates its Members in the public interest. CRPO is established under the Psychotherapy Act, 2007 and the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA). Only Members of CRPO can use the protected titles “psychotherapist” and “Registered Psychotherapist”, along with the professional designation, RP. Program: Psychodynamic Psychotherapy has the guiding principle of accepting the reality of an unconscious dynamic, operating outside of ordinary awareness, that has powerful effects on the thoughts, feelings and actions of everyone in their daily lives. Couple & Family Therapy has the guiding principle that human challenges and growth occur in a relational context, and that individuals experience themselves, and understand their lives, in a web of social and interpersonal relationship.
