UC San Diego MPP vs. U Maryland College Park Public Management

Hi everyone, 

As the title says, anyone having any comments on these 2 programs? I would be highly appreciated. I have seen very limited online information, so I am not sure how is everyone's perception about these programs.

The most basic consideration would be whether you want experience in DC or not.  Do future plans involve DC/east coast?  If so, Maryland is the obvious choice.  I believe they are having an event in a couple of days, which would be good to attend for more info.

I think I've heard that the UCSD program is newer, and that they appear to be putting a lot of resources there.  That said, I got a generous offer from Maryland SPP, so they clearly have resources as well.
