MCMaster or Simon fraser ?

Hi Everyone,

I am very much interested in industrial robotics ,mechatronics and also manufacturing.The problem now i face is that i had applied to McMaster university for their Meng in Manufacturing and also in SImon Fraser for their MEng in Mechatronics Prodcut realization.

I have been offered admission by both now , and i am in a complete dilemma on which one to choose.

Can any1 tell me which wud be the best choice ? Mc master has bette ranking overall when i checked the net. But i hear the Prodcut realzation program at Simon fraser is very good.

Can someone please help me with this ????

I believe that the best you can do right now is:

  • Check the universities' websites and see what faculty members are working on, and if you see yourself doing anything similar;
  • Once you find a faculty member that you might be interested in working with, shoot an email to their current/previous graduate students and ask about their experience working with that professor. Finding a good adviser is one of the most important things in graduate school.
