ipsumlorem Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Hey guys, so I recently graduated, and I'm thinking about applying for an MS in applied stats for Fall 2018 as a backup plan if jobs don't end up well. I just want to learn applicable skills without worrying too much about the underlying theory. Here's my information Undergrad Institution: Top 5 Public School in USMajor(s): Statistics, Economics Minor(s): Hispanic Literature and CulturesGPA: 3.79 Type of Student: Asian MaleGRE General Test: Haven't taken GRE. (Idk if this is applicable but my SAT is 780/770/780) Research Experience: Wrote undergraduate thesisAwards/Honors/Recognitions: Highest HonorsPertinent Activities or Jobs: Not really, a couple random positions Letters of Recommendation: Two senior Economics people, and maybe one from a stats PhD candidateAny Miscellaneous Points that Might Help: I haven't taken real analysis, but I've taken Probability (A), Linear Alegebra (B), Statistical Theory (B), Calc 3 (A), Discrete Math (A-), Econometrics (A-) What programs would be best for applied stats with my profile?
