fireflies Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Due some extraordinary personal circumstances, I was able to learn from someone in the MFA Creative Writing office that based upon my packet's "score" that all she felt comfortable telling me was I was not going to be in the first round of rejections or the second round. Um, exactly how many rounds ARE there?? In a way, if I AM rejected, I would rather know SOONER as opposed to later, KWIM? Has anyone heard about this kind of "process"? What do you think this means? TO ME, this means I am in that rejection/wait list range... Does anyone know about Alabama's admission process? Thank you!!
Magdalena Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Hi fireflies, It looks like the acceptances and waitlists have all gone out (according to someone who spoke with Michael Martone). Sounds like those of us who don't have rejections, will get them in the mail soon enough. I know it's been a while since you've posted, but I wanted to offer an update for anyone who is looking around for info.
vonteity Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I haven't heard from Alabama either, not a peep. I'm guessing that since I haven't gotten an acceptance, a waitlist, or a rejection, I'm in some kind of a maybe pile.
