The language processing center has a recruiting weekend March 5. I'm not sure if other fields do the same thing, but I know they don't send out offers until after that, so I wouldn't expect to hear anything until mid-March.

Aw shoot... If you're an international student then it's possible that they might be considering you but they didn't want to fly you out, otherwise that's not a good sign. To anyone with a different specialization though, I wouldn't be alarmed if you haven't heard from them, because the recruiting weekend was specifically for NLP people.

One other thing: my invitation email ended up in my spam folder for some reason and I didn't catch it til almost a week later. You might want to check your's.

I just checked my spam folder and I don't have anything. I am an international student but I live in LA so that is not a good sign.

By the way, when exactly did you get the invitation email?

The email was sent on Feb 5.
