I am applying for my doctorate in clinical or counseling psych programs. I didn't get accepted the first time around, and I'm trying to get an idea for how competitive my application will be. I graduated undergrad cum laude and am now in a masters program in counseling where I have a 3.97 GPA. I did not do well on the GRE's (scores really low). I have done one oral presentation, two poster presentations, and have a book chapter that is currently under review (this is all between 2014 until now). I have internship and practicum experiences. Do you think I have a chance at getting accepted into a doctoral program? Is there anything I can do to strengthen my application. Retaking the GRE is not an option financially and also frankly I know that I won't do much better. Thank you in advance for your advice!
