  1. Has anyone heard from the following programs? I have contacted them for status updates last week and was told I was "under review" , but is that code for rejected? John Jay Clinical Psych St. John Clinical Psych Columbia Teacher College Counseling Psych Kean PsyD I have one interview (Pace PsyD), one waitlist (PCOM PsyD), and one rejection (Lehigh PhD due to funding) so I'm just trying to gauge where I stand right now. Thanks! I'm just super nervous because this is my second time applying for a PhD program, and the first time I actually made it to interviews
  2. Does anyone know how long PCOM takes to send out decisions after interviews for the PsyD? They have rolling admissions, so I'm wondering if they would take longer or shorter to contact interviewees.. Thanks!
  3. Hi Everyone, If anyone could answer this question, I would be super grateful. So, I have called programs that I applied to in Counseling and Clinical Psychology PhD for status updates for my applications. I have been told that my application is still under review. Does this mean I am probably rejected? Application deadlines were between December 1st and January 1st.
  4. Hi Everyone! I am applying for my doctorate in clinical or counseling psych programs. I didn't get accepted the first time around, and I'm trying to get an idea for how competitive my application will be. I graduated undergrad cum laude and am now in a masters program in counseling where I have a 3.97 GPA. I did not do well on the GRE's (scores really low). I have done one oral presentation, two poster presentations, and have a book chapter that is currently under review (this is all between 2014 until now). I have internship and practicum experiences. Do you think I have a chance at getting accepted into a doctoral program? Is there anything I can do to strengthen my application. Retaking the GRE is not an option financially and also frankly I know that I won't do much better. Thank you in advance for your advice!
