It gives me lot of pleasure to recommend Ajay Nair for the graduate course at your esteemed university. I have known him since his second year of Engineering in Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) and I had the opportunity to teach him ‘Theory of Computation’ and to be his final year project guide.

For his final year project he along with his team were able to come up with a very innovative idea: ‘Sandman.js: Gesture Recognition Library’ using which developers can easily create and incorporate gestures which can act as a replacement for menu items in their websites. This unambiguously pointed out his quench for innovation. He always maintained an updated plan in his tracker which had detailed breakdown of the project into multiple daily tasks and weekly milestones. He was always on schedule and this level of discipline helped him and his team win 2nd prize in INC (Impetus and Concepts) nationwide technical project competition. Moreover, during the presentations of his project
he showcased exceptional technical communication skill. Due to his overall superior performance he scored 90/100 for his project work and 42/50 for his project oral examination. He always stood out for his keenness to learn and his quick grasping skills during my lectures. He actively initiated and participated in discussions and asked relevant and important questions related to the subject. His high
score in Theory of Computation aptly displays his top quality skill set.

As a fresher in Calsoftinc he took time out to give back to his collage PICT. He guided a final year BE project 'NFS XATTR implementation' in which he mentored his team to implement support for extended attributes in Linux kernel NFS. For the team which consisted of 4 students, I was the collage project guide while he was the external project guide. Whenever the team faced any technical issue he always found a way out showing his strong hold on the subject. He always made the team stay motivated and his incredible leadership skills translated into the team standing first in the Calsoft project competition.

Ajay was among the top students in my class. His discipline, keenness to learn and innovative skills coupled with high level of motivation will surely help him immensely during his graduate studies. Thus, I strongly recommend him for his admission with suitable financial assistantship at your university.

I'm guessing this is a draft you wrote?

There are some grammar issues, but it also really reads like an undergrad wrote it (to me). Too many superlatives that don't add anything, and not enough substance over what the reader can tell from a CV and transcript.
