Markdeejohnsonomaha Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Hello, I graduated from the University of Memphis this spring with a terminal MA degree in Political Science. I've been actively applying for any sort of social science research-esque position I can find and feel I am qualified for. I've probably submitted over 100 applications since graduation. Since that time I've had two interviews of which yielded no job offer, although one mentioned I was among the 'top two' finalists. I am curious if I am expecting too much; if an MA doesn't qualify me for the type of work I'd hoped to do. I can't feel as if I'm doing something wrong with the application process. Perhaps someone on here could lend some advice as to what the best course of action to take so as to land myself in some sort of social science research role, that is, advice on where to look, what to look for, etc. Thanks... Mark
