TwirlingBlades Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 (edited) Hey everyone! Sorry if this is a really dumb question. In my PhD application, it asks the length of my bachelor and master programs. My UG was a 4 year program, but I completed it in 3 years. Do I still write "4" for the number of years? There is a section that asks for the month/year that I started and ended the program, which would let the reviewer know I completed it in 3 years. Is this correct, or would I put 3 years in the "length of program" box? Thank you! Edited December 28, 2017 by TwirlingBlades clarity
TakeruK Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 You can ask the department you are applying to in order to figure out what they want. I would guess you should write 4 years. But you could also put 4 years, put the dates corresponding to the actual time in program in the right place but then also add a note to say that you finished early (most applications allow you to add notes).
