Should I retake Gre?

Good day! What are the chances of my application into PhD program in the US with a Gre score of 298. Q149' V149'. Will there be consideration on the gre solely or other areas of my application should be strengthened? Thanks!

Sorry to say but that's a bad score. I scored 310 and that is still considered too low, since my quant was 149. I would recommend retaking it.

thanks.  But they look at the whole application process. Like can I get into Emory with this score -298- and a 3.5/4.0 GPA for PhD?

I was just discussing a general trend. I'm applying for Polt. Sci for example and even middle-ranked universities ask for 155+ quant and verbal at the very least. Depends on the program and university rankings, among other things.
