Looking for a friend here..... Western was my 1st choice for 2-year MSW, and I found out I was waitlisted a while ago. In the meantime, I was offered acceptance to Carleton along with a significant funding package, so I accepted this offer. I found out today that I came off the waitlist at Western, and I'm feeling pretty conflicted about the decision. Does anyone know anything about these 2 schools that may help me make my decision? Thanks!

I have accepted my offer at Carleton... anybody else? I'm just wondering if anyone on here knows what the format of the 2 year program is like? I'm just trying to figure out what my life for the next 2 years is gonna be like... lol. any break during the summer? stuff like that. anyways, would be very appreciative of any info that anyone has! congrats to everyone and good luck to those still waiting to hear!

I tend to creep these posts but never add to them, so I figured I would because I'm SUPER anxious to hear back. Last year I applied to Carleton, Windsor and Laurier and was only accepted to Carleton... however, I declined my offer due to some things I was facing at this time last year. Sooo, this year I've applied to Carleton, Laurier and Western. 2-year programs, as I hold a BA in Psychology. I'm very nervous and just want to know already! Good luck to all and hang in there!!! hi - good luck to all waiting to hear back from schools! i'm here to ask for others opinions on a decision i had to make... while waiting to hear back from schools i was offered a 1yr contract in a counselling position. i have a lot of experience working with children and families but none doing direct clinical work with children and families so i was pretty eager to gain some skills/knowledge/experience in this specific field. i'm also 22 and not even a year out of my undergrad. so, i made the decision to commit to this position and have decided to re-apply next year to all of the schools i applied to this year. shortly after making this decision i found out i was accepted at my 1st choice school. i declined the offer and am planning on re-applying for next fall. does declining an offer of admission to a particular school influence my future applications? sometimes i have nightmares that i won't be accepted next fall cause they will be like HA you should have accepted your offer when you had the chance
