I applied to uw ucla and Portland state, now that my top choice is out I'm really hoping for ucla , but I'm starting to worry in general... holding my breath to hear something soon. Best of luck to you.... let me know if you hear anything

To those of you that have already been accepted, do any of you mind sharing stats. Upper division GPA and amount of service hours. I just got rejected by my top choice, UW Seattle, and I haven't heard from UCLA yet. I'm starting to freak out. I have a 3.9 upper division gpa but only about 1000 hours of service experience.

Omg.... I applied on December 14th and haven't heard anything yet.... now I'm getting really nervous....

No.... I didn't interview. I just did the online application. I wasn't asked to interview....

I applied to UCLA, University of Washington, and Portland State. Not supposed to hear back till March but I can't stop checking everyday. Did anyone else apply to those schools?

I applied by the December 15th deadline. I'm anxious about getting an admission decision. I have a 3.9 upper division undergrad GPA (which was in studio arts with a minor in applied psychology). I, however, feel I do not have as much experience as others. I have a lot of different types of social service experience, but none of is for a great many hours. I have approximately 900 cumulative social service experience hours. I hope this doesn't hurt me as I have been volunteering for years but also working full time jobs not related to the social service field. Any thoughts on this. I also applied to university of washington, which is my top choice but they are very selective... Does anyone else have a similar situation with a high GPA but not as many volunteer hours?
