brokephd
Does anyone know of grants, etc. that are open to graduate student that fund research? NOT fellowships/scholarships as those usually only give money for tuition/stipend/fees. I already have a fellowship but am looking for ways to fund the purchasing of lab supplies, etc. for my research. Thanks!
Eigen
Very discipline specific- you'd need to give us your field. For instance, there are virtually no such sources in Chemistry, a handful in molecular biology, and a lot in ecology.
rising_star
National Science Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grants? But, also, what Eigen said. I know of a handful for the social sciences but they're completely not applicable for the "natural" sciences.
