MSW Internship

Hey everyone,

 

so I just had my interview for my internship today. They asked for references which caught me off guard because I had interviewed for another placement and they didn't. The woman made it sound as if there were other people competing for the internship spot. 

I would think that a CSU would only have the right number of people interviewing for the position. 

Is this normal? I'm anxious now.

I know Pitt will let multiple students interview for the same placement if they're interested.  It definitely put pressure on me for my basw placement.  I interviewed and was offered the placement but wanted to interview a couple of other places first but the school told me they'd be sending others over to interview so I accepted the placement.

It can be a stressful process but you'll end up where you're supposed to be!  Good luck!
