Hello all: opinion from the masses requested:
-military officer with 16 years experience
-MS (thesis)in chemistry GPA=3.4, Co School of Mines
-grad assistant at he National Renewable Energy Lab
-two years teaching experience at West Point (General/Analytical Chem)
-fully funded for a PhD for three years at school of choice; follow on assignment back to West Point as assistant professor
-applying to MIT, Columbia, Brown, Rutgers
-average GREs back in '04; let's just say not typical of your chem grad school applicant to tip tier schools
Thoughts on likelihood of being admitted to those programs?
Thanks and best to all!
