  1. Accepted at Baylor College of Medicine - Neuroscience. Two members of the admissions committee and two other PIs had made some clear hints during the interview that I was at the very top of the list, and going to be accepted. Received confirmation two days later! A great community for research, very friendly and collaborative environment, really enjoyed meeting the people. I would say, "awesome" in a word! Good luck to all!
  2. Is anyone here going to attend interview weekend at Baylor College Medicine Neuroscience PhD? Also, does anybody please know the post-interview acceptance rate in this program? Thanks in advance!
  3. Did anybody know the post-interview acceptance rate at Baylor College of Medicine - Neuroscience PhD? Thanks in advance!
  4. Did anyone get interview invitation or rejection from Neuroscience program at Baylor College of Medicine? I applied about at the mid December. I know they send interview earlier who apply before 1st December, and later if applied between 1st December and 1st January. The PI, whom I contacted with before application, wrote me two days ago that he was not involved much in the admission decision this year, but he could try to collect some information about my application status in the next few days. I have received no further correspondence though.
  5. I have received an email from JHU BME offering acceptance. Funding information is complex, 50% tuition waiver with TA position and I have to find a supervisor for further funding like rest 50% of tuition fee and stipend as stated in the email. I couldn't understand the language well. The email was two days ago, and nothing else till today. I sent an email to a prof. asking a position in his lab, but no response yet. Gave up my hope after being rejected from MIT, Minnesota, Wisconsin and UT Austin. However, I don't know if I could join at JHU, the dream school for BME, due to esoteric funding issues :-(
  6. Does anyone know if all the acceptances are sent out from UT Austin BME? I emailed a Prof. on 24th last month who replied it was early in the game, but promised me to ask his contacts in the department. We haven't communicated since then, however. I believe Austin's BME manages sending acceptances within 1st week of Feb with little exception. I am really worried!
  7. If those posts be true anyway, I trust most of the notifications are coming on next week! I will be waiting for the moment, though my expectation for acceptance is near zero. May God help us......
  8. I wonder these notifications perhaps from the professors unofficially, not sure though.
  9. I also sent email to a professor, but no response as well. I suppose Feb 7/8 are going to be the big days for us.
  10. Do you anyone please know when the decisions are normally come out from MIT EECS?
  11. Has anyone got responses from BME at UT-Austin, UW-Madison or UMN-Twin Cities? Or, any idea about the date they send out?
  12. Looking forward what happens. Do you know when MIT BE invitations come to an end?
