  1. Can everyone new to the forum please add his/her information to the spreadsheet for all those applying next year: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmoTe-gJd4B9dFJ0aW1mYTVkYnhKcUEzR28yRTNwdlE&pli=1#gid=1 Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the notification
  3. Haha!
  4. That's great to hear!!!
  5. I had to inform my FPA that I was recommended. He congratulated me, but he was not the first to tell me. I guess it depends on how involved in campus life the FPA is. He does a lot of things at my school, and the semester had just begun. Well, we shall see what happens in the next 2 weeks!
  6. Yes: talking in circles.
  7. I don't think that the dates/ days are significant; they were not relevant last year. Indonesia released the information a month sooner. The days of the week for notification are all over the board, and there are no apparent trends.
  8. Agreed. It makes for an exciting wait though.
  9. lol, "positive" doesn't really make sense, imagining that the rest are negative. I'm sure they might use a P letter in the selection email.
  10. Hmmm, cool.
  11. What does the "P" stand for?
  12. Sending good vibes sounds awesome
  13. I knew something was up after the explosion of Gradcafe notifications in my inbox.
  14. Congrats, Indonesia granteeeeees! I'm happy for you
  15. Very cool. When did applicants find out last year?
  16. Does he/she mean that the results are coming in now... or does he/she mean "soon?"
  17. I haven't; and I am surprised that some host countries are asking for re-submissions,
  18. Haha, yes: group hug! I'm a little anxious, but more ready for the news. I'm not checking my email everyday like for the first round. It's a different feeling.
  19. Haha,
  20. Ugh, agreed.
  21. That's good to know. I wonder how many Full grant applicants were recommended for Spain this year.
  22. That's right... there were only on campus interviews.
  23. Good idea.
  24. That does make sense. My FPA did not discourage me from applying to Spain, but he did emphasize that applying there is very competitive. I think most people were discouraged about applying to Spain due to the recent economic problems (especially with unemployment). It appears that funding may have not been cut for Fulbright programs.
  25. You should call IIE just to make sure they have your email, info, etc correct.
