  1. It would be hard to put an approximate number for that chance, but if you are in the first place, your chance looks very high. It is well known that at most 50~60% of admitted students take the offer.
  2. I have also officially decided to attend Caltech. This thread has been more than wonderful, helping me a lot during the process. Thanks for @mccamel to open this one, and I am surprised my post is 700th...! Gluck to y'all in deciding schools..!
  3. @neuroendocrinology, you really have great lists there...congrats!
  4. @Mecasickle, if you are not invited to an interview, I am afraid that's not a good news. I am an international student as well, and I was invited. I was invited about mid January, did the interview in early Feb, and received the acceptance mail three days after the interview weekend. Gluck!
  5. You havent heard anything yet after interview?
  6. I dont know yet if all of final acceptance have been sent out...Some of us did get the acceptance, but others have not received anything, not even a rejection letter.
  7. Just got an acceptance from Penn, too. I am choosing between Caltech and Penn...!
  8. Sorry for the confusion...I am already in Philly...Who else is here?
  9. Is there anyone heading to Philadelphia for 2nd Upenn interviews? I am...!
  10. Sorry, except for Berkeley, I applied to Neuroscience programs. I did apply to WashU, but things should be separated between neuroscience and BME programs.
  11. I suggest for you to contact the program coordinator. I really think rejection notice is way better than getting nothing and waiting...
  12. Hi, I am an international student, and did BME in undergrad (Hopkins) and grad (Penn) in the States. My undergrad GPA was 3.68. After master's degree I worked in a neurology lab for three and a half years. I also have some publications in neuroscience journals, a couple of them under review. For GRE, I think they are only on average in schools like Berkeley. I am sure you also have great background, and I hope absence of contact from Berkeley do not discourage you. Gluck!
  13. Congrats!! Hopefully I feel the same as you in a few weeks....
  14. Hey, I applied to neuroscience programs for most of schools, including UPenn. I only applied to Berkeley for BE program. If you have not heard from anything, I suggest you to directly contact them, via phone or email. Usually most of coordinators are very kind.
