Congrats! I got mine as well! Now my question is.... I had already sent in my Intent to Register with another school. But my first choice is CSUN. How do I back out of the other one??

Hello all! I have been asked to attend an interview for CSUN and was told there is a group exercise, writing exercise, and personal questions. What should I expect with the exercise and what are they looking for? I have a friend in the program and she told me to emphasize working with and a desire to work with urban communities from a strenghts-based perspective. Any other advice for those who went through the interview process would be great.

I received one, as well! Then I received an email right after that requesting an interview. I am super nervous now. There's supposed to be a "writing exercise"?!

Hi Hily, I am a part-time MSW hopeful like yourself. I have applied to California State University Northridge, Cal State LA, and Cal State Dominguez Hills. Still waiting patiently. I would have loved to apply for the two year program so I could just get through it but I have to work throughout my schooling and I think that would make it almost impossible! Good luck to you.

I applied to CSUN before priority deadline and others in the program told me they heard after a month. Feeling very anxious at not hearing anything I contacted Tiffany in the MSW office and she said everybody, regardless of when they applied, will hear in May. I'm so frustrated and getting crazy anxious!

How are all of you doing on your applications? I turned mine in for CSUN for priority on Monday. I still have to finish and turn in apps for CSUDH and CSULA. The rolling admissions has me nervous! Also, CSULA's statement is tiresome.
