LTee got a reaction from KieBelle in How much debt will you have?
Thats awesome that some of you wont have to take out loans for grad school.... But I was wondering how much OTHERS who do have to finance their own graduate school will have accrued so that I don't feel like Im the only one choosing debt in order to get the education I want! Again, congrats to those who do have funding though

Im kinda in this same position, but Im applying for School Psych Ed.S programs. Im under the impression from the school psych's Ive talked to that as long as you have the appropriate certification, then your good. They both said that in interviews no one has ever asked them what school they went to. If you have a chance to spend less Id do it. But Im curious to hear what other people think.

LTee got a reaction from expressionista in Extremely Low GRE Score!!!
Wellllll..... I have in fact scored about the same as you my friend. I too took it twice. The first time I was upset but not surprised because of lack of studying, the second time I wanted to just cry. Although you seem to have gone to further lengths than me as far as studying, I did spend the WHOLE summer studying for the test, and I got almost the same score as I did the first time (750-ish total, 4.0 writing.) So I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. Having said that, I will say that I recieved interviews at ALL three schools that I applied to. One I got in, one I didn't, one I don't know yet. Granted there are many schools and fields where that kind of score just wont fly, but I was realistic and only applied to less competitive schools where I thought my app would be evaluated for what it WAS, not what it WAS NOT.
