  1. I've been hanging around Grad Cafe for nearly two months and cleared so many of my doubts and questions. However, as always is the case, I have a few more. Is there anyone here from India who has successfully applied for an MFA/MA abroad? I come from an investment banking background and was wondering if I could get some assistance as to what is required to apply successfully (mostly to be able to make the crossover) I'd be incredibly grateful to everyone who can point me in the right direction. Cheers!
  2. To the best of my knowledge, no program specifically concentrates on Alternative photography. However, they may have a few classes over the course of multiple semesters regarding that. Here in India we have GOA-CAP (GOA Centre for Alternative Photography) They have a number of paid residencies and an annual sponsored one. They practice quite a bit of alternative processes (albumen, gum bichromate, C type, Salt Prints etc) Here are some links that might help you http://goa-cap.com/ And this is the blog that the residents maintain. http://altlab2011.wordpress.com/2012/12/25/altlab-3-0 If you need more information, feel free to hit me up. cheers!
  3. Hi, I'm trying to locate some photography masters programs in Europe. I have so far found FAMU and WDKA (Piet Zwart). Are there other good schools except the IED's? Cheers!
