  1. On the topic of decision timelines does anyone know about Stanford's acceptance period? The results page is fairly disperse, which might suggest they haven't made the bulk of their offers. Based on last year most responses after February 1st seem to be rejections though...
  2. Accepted to Princeton via an email just now, maybe they're finally rolling out decisions. Visitation days are : February 15-16, March 8-9, March 22-23. I also got a phone acceptance from Yale yesterday, and they only have one visitation weekend in February as someone already mentioned. I wonder what the vibe is like if you opt for an informal visit that doesn't fall on one of these visitation dates. The profs probably wouldn't be as available, but you might get a more honest impression of the department... @coppernanotubes (from a few weeks ago): I got the call from prof Chris Chang at Berkeley, and I'm interested in working wither either him, Arnold, Hartwig, or Tilley.
  3. Just got into UC Berkeley!--voicemail from a prof and a follow up email. Visitation dates are March 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd, and each weekend has a theme: organic, inorganic, chemical biology, and mixed interests, respectively. Also got an acceptance from UCSD on Monday via email--their weekends are February 8th and March 8th.
  4. Aaand yet another Northwestern acceptance for inorganic--phone call from a prof I mentioned in my SOP! Got an additional 10K for my first year to sweeten the deal. Only slightly awkward moment was when I mentioned another prof I was interested in and he told me that was his wife...
