UK folks, my FPA just sent me the following... apparently she just got it via the National Association of Fellowships Advisors listserv: Hello all, Just a quick message to update you on the Fulbright Postgraduate Award selections for the UK... We are finalising our shortlist at the moment, in conjunction with our University partners. Telephone interviews with the Commission will be scheduled to occur between 21-18th February. We aim to contact applicants by Thursday, February 14thto invite them to interview. As in previous years we may not call all short-listed candidates to interview. Once interviews are completed we will be in a position to put out our press release to announce the new cohort of US Fulbright Postgraduate Students. We anticipate that this information will be available on our Website by early/mid March. I don't know about you, but this makes me feel so much better. It looks like interviews this year will be later than they ever have been for the UK. I wish there was an emoticon to describe relief. maybe this? xo, E

Literally, every morning from 6 am to 12 noon (end of the day London time) I feel vaguely sick. I guess we will know soon enough! On the fulbright uk website it says the following: 28 January 2013 - 15 February 2013 Between these dates UK Fulbright Award select candidates will be notified on their opportunity to interview for their Fulbright Award.

Any word from the UK folks on phone interviews? I still haven't heard anything.

My UK friends, I haven't heard anything either! Listen, if three of us haven't heard anything yet, than I really thing it means they haven't sent out e-mails about the phone interviews. HANG IN THERE! I for one, am kind of a nervous wreck but we made it this far, let's stay strong!!!!!! love and light!!!!

Does anyone have any information on UK phone interviews? I found some good stuff online, but was wondering if anyone knows anything that may be helpful. My FPA set up a practice interview with me, but I have not been contacted by the Fulbright Commission about a phone interview as of yet.... does anyone know what the deal is? Thanks!!!!

I am so happy I found this forum. I know that we won't know until the end of January but I am still obsessively checking my e-mail. Anyone know how competitive the individual postgraduate UK-partnership scholarships are? I know the UK is extremely competitive, but does anyone have a sense of how many people apply for each UK-partnership scholarship? -E
