If you want to teach I would look into csu northridge. It is a very small program and not well known. But I know they have funding, and TA and GA positions. The head of painting is Samantha Feilds who is incredible. The program is truly interdisciplinary and they will let you do anything you want. It is a hidden little gem of a school.

I have a professor who loves bard and the people there. I know it is a good school.
