I went to Hampshire College in western MA. So strange that OHSU would pull from specific schools. C'est la vie.
I feel like I should be contacting my POIs to check on the status. I think I'll wait until mid February though. Anyone contact POIs to check on their status?
I only applied to 4 schools (OHSU, Stanford, UC Boulder, and UW Madison). I was rejected form OHSU and I'm 99% sure Stanford is out. I saw that a few people heard back about interviews for Cog Psych/neuro at Boulder and one person heard back from Madison. This is so stressful! I'm pretty much trying to solidify my plan B at this point.
Thanks Boris. I imagine if one subdepartment of psych does interviews, the rest probably do too. I hate that the schools don't give a lot of information about what happens after you apply.
I applied to the Biology of Brain and Behavior program in the Psych department at UW Madison. I asked admissions if they could let me know when applicants should expect to hear back. They said mid-late March with the final admissions decisions. When I check the psych department's page, it says students should hear back by mid-late March as well. No where does it say anything about interviews. I feel like there have to be interviews, but now I'm not sure. Does anyone know?
Having your application status say incomplete is fine (it seems like a lot of people are having this problem). I e-mailed admissions and they said that if you were missing items, they would let you know.
