just received my letter today...i got a fellowship! my score was 22.1.

i'm at york and contacted our FGS...their response was "FGS doesn't have the SSHRC results as of yet. My understanding is letters are in the mail. " after reading about others who have heard from their departments/faculties i'm suspicious that they're just withholding info...and also, more panicked than ever!

thanks for all the helpful info, all. my grad program director recently informed me that there are actually fewer SSHRCs to go around this year for those of us in non-business categories. some of the funds for the business SSHRC's have apparently come out of our pot. has anyone else heard this??

gerry must be getting really irritated by all the phone calls. we just got a letter from her forwarded by our dept. which says that those who have received an offer have until june 30th to respond, and that we shouldn't call again until mid-late august. also that our status on the website will be updated if we eventually receive an OGS.

Aren't the rankings by division of study (not discipline)? The letter says "Separate reversion lists are maintained in rank order for each division of study." I was told I was ranked #8 and I assumed this was for my division (Social Science) and not my discipline. If it's the latter my chances are obviously much lower. Can anyone clarify?
