I'm in the same position!! I'm just going to call the main office and tell them that I accepted into another school. CSUN is my first choice so I'm sticking to it! Are you full time or part time?

CSUN accepted me last night via e-mail

Yeah, and the have notes/take notes so I'm thinking they are checking for consistency and verbal skills. And I still haven't made my decision yet. I haven't heard back from any other schools I've applied to.

To be honest, I thought it went horribly and that there would be no way they would accept me. They just asked basic questions like why social work, tell me a little about yourself, what do you think you will do differently from undergrad studies to grad studies, etc. I think you will be fine... it seems like I just freaked out more than I needed to. Just make sure you write down some questions so that you can ask them some at the end. I told them I had no questions and they just about flipped out so I started asking anything relevant that came to mind.

I really, really, really hope so! CSUN is my first choice! Congrats on your interview!! I will post on here if/when I get that email. Hopefully I can wake up tomorrow with an email from them!!

I got that email tonight as well (although I did not receive one before..this is my first). FINALLY SOME NEWS!

Thats amazing!! congrats!! can i ask you a little personal question? Did they tell you how much the scholarship was for? The only way I would be able to go there is if they offered me a decent scholarship and I was just curious to see how much they are offering..

When do you have to let CSULA by?

I applied to both in early January. There was a mix up with some of the information I sent to both, so I had to resend some papers.. I believe they were received and cleared around January 10th. The only school I have heard from is CSUF.. they accepted me after an interview. I know CSUN does interviews as well, but who knows when they will start the process. When did you apply?

I know that a few weeks ago, CSULB did a round of acceptances through e-mail. I'm still waiting to hear back from both CSULB and CSUN.. Lets hope sooner rather than later..

My first choice is CSUN.. I did my undergrad there and its a lot closer to home than Fullerton is so I could still live at home and work at my job on the weekends.. however I have a huge dilemma Fullerton would be my second choice.. but they need my decision by April 1st, and CSUN won't let us know until May... so I'm unsure of what to do.

So far, the only news I have gotten is an acceptance into CSUF, unfortunately it is not my first choice so I'm waiting patiently for anything. I know 2 weeks ago CSULB sent out a round of acceptances as well.. but I didn't hear anything from them either.

I got my acceptance for CSUF as well! Now hopefully the rest of the schools will get back to us soon!

what does your USC app say when you login to it? It says something along the lines of my status being listed below... but all it says is "thank you for submitting your application!"

My concentration would be family and children ( i'm not sure if thats exactly what its called but you get it). When did you hear from CSULB? Was it through an email? And if you don't mind me asking, when exactly did you apply? I couldn't apply until Jan. 2nd due to one of my recommenders being out of town so I did all of my applications rather late :/

I too had my interview at CSUF on Monday.. I can't help but feel discouraged after the interview. They had over 500 people apply and they only accept 30-50 people. Yikes! I still haven't heard back from any other school.... I'm waiting for my USC letter to come in whether it be good or bad. I currently have a friend in the USC program.. she said when she got the letter she freaked out because they didn't send her a packet.. they just sent a regular sized letter of acceptance so just a heads up Good luck!!! have you heard anything from CSULB? I applied there too with no response yet..
