  1. If you click the box with a number (usually 0) next to the red arrow button (above the "Quote" button), you can see the list!
  2. Gosh, now I notice that - I didn't know I can browse who clicked red arrows and who did green ones... It is very creepy and VERY funny......lol GROW!!!
  3. Wish I could claim one of those....(not the rejection one, for sure)
  4. I'm not targeting sb here, but what is the point of trolling? Just curious..... that board is for posting "results" , not a wishlist.....Is sb testing "self-fulfilling prophecy"? Or are there any K-12 kids uploading those...?
  5. Hope that is trolling......I guess they are too busy (and not that cruel) to notify rejections by phone...unless the poster called the department

  11. Northwestern, I am waiting....
  12. I second. To be really frank, I don't understand what people mean by "safety school" : does it mean one thinks s/he has better qualification than those who are expected to be accepted? Or one has the perfect fit? Or....ranking-wise you deserve sth better? We are not applying to undergrad programs so numbers do not determine everything......esp. if your "safety school" rejected you, it was not "safe" program anyway.....don't mean to be mean by any means. just a bit curious.
  13. Haha, the first reject from UWMadison......it hurts a little bit. Two more to go.
  14. yep.....but to the "desirable" direction.....I hope
  15. you mean "My UW-Madison"page? Gosh mine is still pending...I was super shaky for two mins lol

    St. Louis, MO

I am living in St. Louis now...about for two years. I don't drive - I can't as I don't have a license. Living without driving is inconvenient but not impossible. If you become "savvy" in taking metro and buses, things are not as bad as you might imagine. So, give it a try to live without a vehicle, and you may decide if you need one. I live in a house in university city, around Big Bend station, and it seems that there are a lot of students sharing a house in my neighborhood. There are also a lot of apartments in delmar loop area. Some of my colleagues are living in downtown St. Louis - around 8th and Pine station. You can find affordable lofts, and grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance in downtown. St. Louis is quite an affordable city considering its amenities and quality of life.
