Thanks crimsoc. The release of the MA sshrc will provide a hint as to when to expect sshrc PhDs. Every bit of information that comes in makes me feel that we are almost there.

Congrats Pol. My department met two weeks ago. I'm waiting to hear something perhaps this week since the deadline to forward applications to the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) is Nov 6th. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone!

Well the SSHRC application season is here again. And folks in social science related programs in Canada would be familiar with what I am talking about. I understand the internal deadline for most schools was this past Tuesday (October 15th). Feel free to leave a comment or share your thoughts on the application process as we wait for results in April 2014. Did I hear someone say April 2014 is too far away?

just got accepted into the PhD program in Social Work at University of Calgary. Have until April 22nd to respond but will probably decline since I already have a juicy offer from U of T. Good to have options.

MSW13, were you given a PIN in the acceptance package to log into Student Web Service or is a combination of date of birth or something? I have my Student # in the application system but still waiting for my package.
