Hi everyone. I was waitlisted at my top choice program about 5 weeks ago, and e-mailed back and forth with the secretary about it, but she wasn't able to give me much information at that time. Do you think it would be a good idea to e-mail her to let her know that, although I know she might not have any additional information about my status, I am still interested in attending the program? I have been silent because I don't want to bother them, but I don't want my silence to be perceived as disinterest.

Hi, I went to Michigan State's HDFS interview weekend (Feb 15th) and found out shortly after that that I was accepted to the program. However, I never received an official letter of acceptance, I was just told by my potential future advisor. If I were you, I would ask the department for any news on your acceptance.

I contacted the CPEP secretary today, and was informed that wait-list notifications have not gone out yet (though acceptances have). Good luck!

That's what I've been thinking also, but I've been trying to hold on to some hope that maybe they are running a bit behind schedule this year. Definitely my dream program, I'm sad to think that it's a rejection . Maybe we can still make the waitlist. I only applied to one other program, which is a Human Development and Family Studies Ph.D. program at Michigan State. Where else did you apply?

Hi everyone. I am going crazy over here wondering what's going on with UMich's combined program in education and psychology's admissions process. In the last few years, it looks like admissions went out around January 19th. This year, nobody has posted any results yet. Just curious whether anyone has been in contact with professors and/or the secretary and knows anything about the time frame of when we should expect to hear back this year?

Simbacat - I applied to the University of Michigan education and psychology program also, but haven't heard anything yet. I know you posted this about a week ago - have you heard anything from them since then? I'm going crazy over here!
