  1. Same here. 3 classes, honors thesis, playing a sport, internship, volunteer research work, and 3 part-time jobs (fitness instructor--various teaching gigs around NYC)... and I'm legally-blind. I've had senioritis since freshman year, haha, but I'd really be able to focus much better if I heard SOMETHING back from anywhere. Some days I find myself motivated, but others (like tonight), I just come home, obsessively check application statuses, read forums, get discouraged, and cry. Clearly, a healthy cycle! None of my friends are applying to any grad programs, and I wish I had someone around going through this too so I can commiserate and share all these absurd and probably irrational emotions! Good luck with apps and the end of senior year!!
  2. So all my applications were submitted before 12/1 (Clinical Psych PhD: Fordham, Columbia, CUNY, Rutgers (PsyD), St. John's). I've yet to hear anything from anyone--no interviews or rejections!!! I'm REALLY freaking out because I saw on the results section that CUNY has been sending TONS of rejections and interviews since 1/10, and interview dates were 2/1 which clearly passed and some say 2/8. Is it bad I haven't heard?? Am I on some waitlist I don't know about? Aren't waitlisted people interviewed, though?!? I called last week and they "didn't have information" on my application status. This whole process is messing with my head and emotions so much. I'm the only one of my friends applying to ANY grad school programs (I'm an undergrad graduating in May) and they don't understand why I'm stressed. I just keep hearing "you'll get in somewhere" and "yeah, I remember what it was like applying to college..." uhm, it's a MUCH different game than applying to undergrad, but thanks for trying!
  3. I heard they sent out decisions and interview dates on 1/10 and more people got them on 1/18 or so, but I haven't heard anything! Should I be worried?! I checked my spam boxes and everything, nothing from them! Do schools let you know if you've been rejected, or is it one of those "if you haven't heard from us, consider yourself rejected" kind of things??
