Planning on attending U of Chicago in the Fall. Does anyone have any recommendations of specific buildings within the university's grad housing? Or, buildings to avoid?

Has anyone else heard anything? I haven't! I have tried calling the admissions office both yesterday and today for an update on when to expect a decision. Both times I was sent to a voicemail. My application was marked complete on 12/14

I was also rejected today. Must say I'm somewhat surprised. I thought I was a strong applicant - 3.84 undergrad GPA, decent GRE, strong LORs and essays. I'm taking graduate level courses even though I am still an undergrad and will graduate with distinction in June. However, as a current undergrad, I only have just over 1 year social work experience. Perhaps this is where my application was lacking. Also, I applied for the gerontology concentration. Maybe this focus is more competitive than others? Oh well, hoping for positive news from the remaining 3 schools. Best of luck to you all!

I also received that email! At first I thought that they might have sent it to everyone, but now that I see that some people have been accepted, I'm assuming it must be some sort of wait list notification. Anyone else have any other ideas/information? Also, does anyone know if UW has sent out any rejections?

I also applied early action. I could have sworn that I read somewhere that we would be notified Feb 15. But I recently checked their website and now it just says notifications would be sometime in February. Anyone else have any updated info?

Wow these stats are really interesting! I wish all the other programs had similar available data!

I'm freaking out also. I applied 12/1 and haven't heard any news yet. My application status still says "submitted" online also.

I was told we would find out Feb 15ish. Is there any reason to believe that we will hear back sooner?
